Position 5 - Cassie Wilkins – Dedicated to Our Students, Committed to Our Community
Cassie Wilkins is a lifelong resident of Grants Pass, a small business owner of 26 years, and a proud mother of three. Her passion for education and community runs deep, and she has devoted the last 16 years to actively supporting our schools—first through PTA boards and now as a dedicated member of the Grants Pass School District 7 Board of Directors.
Cassie has served on the school board since 2018 and has held the position of board chair for the past three years. Her leadership has been marked by a strong commitment to fiscal responsibility, student achievement, and parental involvement. She played a key role in securing $13 million in school improvements—all without raising local taxes—and has worked to protect funding, oppose harmful legislation, and advocate for our community at the state level.
Cassie’s conservative approach to budgeting and planning has resulted in improved graduation rates, better attendance, and expanded student support services. She has championed efforts to strengthen core academic skills in math and reading through her work on the Curriculum Council and continues to support advanced education programs, including career and technical education and post-graduate initiatives.
Through her work with the district’s Leadership and Strategic Planning program, Cassie has helped develop effective hiring strategies and solutions for rural schools. Her goal has always been to ensure our schools reflect the values of our community while preparing students for success.
Cassie Wilkins has proven performance and genuinely cares about our kids, our schools, and our future.
Please vote to reelect Cassie Wilkins to the Grants Pass School District 7 School Board, Position 5.
